No Apologies!
I make no apologies for this being my second blip of the Nuthatch that visits my back garden.
I have made a concerted effort this week to try and make the birds less wary of me. I have been making low whistling noises as I put the food out, and continuing when I get back to the bottom of the garden. It seems to have worked, as the Nuthatch is one of the most skittish birds you will ever meet. I had only picked up my camera turned around, and he was eating the food I had just put down. He even allowed to to point the camera and roll off about ten shots, without scampering away.
Pretty much all the other birds began appearing then, and allowed me to stand there (very still), and went about their feeding business.
It really was a magic moment, and worthy of today's blip!
