Cloth Dyeing
This scene is of a road side cloth dying stall. Women in Pakistan are crazy about designing and making clothes. From buying the cloth, to dying it, to buying the laces and embellishments, everything is done here in Pakistan.
This is a candid shot of the workers of a cloth dyeing shop. The man in the lower right is making tea for his peers. The woman is a client asking either charges for their services or inquiring about the work she has given to them.
I don't like this shot that much because of the unwanted reflections in the glass windows. Also, I took more pictures but by then one of the man saw me and started posing ... haha!! Street photography in Pakistan specially for women is difficult as people are not used to women walking in the streets with a camera in their hands.
While we were shopping in a shop today, we were offered Kashmiri pink tea. It was the most amazing Kashmiri tea we have had in a very long time, with cream and crushed pistachios floating on top of the mug.
Some other images taken today are:
Selling Accessories
Paranda's
Bangles in a shop
Man selling dupatta's and lose cloth
I am not too happy but they will have to do for today. I wanted to do My Moments # 4, but I went shopping today and took these shots, so decided to blip these instead.
