Young Cowgirl

Accompanied big brother to some sort of 4-H practice he needed to take photos of (he's a newspaper reporter/photographer in a small town). I squatted down in the dirt attempting to get some shots of real cowboys and cowgirls in action as per G's request many months ago. My brother was even so kind as to let me use one of his office's fancy-pants lenses so I could zoom in further and all that good stuff. In the end, though, I preferred this shot taken with my own basic lens of a young girl training her new horse to herd a baby calf.
