Larvae?

When I first saw this guy I thought he was trapped on a water droplet. But when I saw this photo on the computer and zoomed in on the droplet I then realized that there was two black things in the droplet that possibly could be larvae. I don't know for sure but maybe some of you knowledgeable blippers out ther can enlighten me on what it is. This has been flipped upside-down for ease of viewing.
