Romany's Caravan

This vardo or gypsy caravan stands in a small garden next to the public library in Wilmslow, Cheshire. It belonged to Rev George Bramwell Evens a Methodist minister who was a well known author and radio broadcaster on the BBC's Children's Hour.

His vardo is a visitor attraction but it's opening hours are very limited - the second Saturday of each month between May and September, excluding August, between 12 and 3pm. But it is free!
