What a Day! (II)

Wow. What a difference a day makes!
Today we had blue sky like you read about. Temps in the 70's F and that light haze that says, "it might be warm but it's still fall." This shot is out the sunroof looking up. :)

I drove to Lansing and back today. For the un-initiated, that's about a three hour round trip. It's not often that I get a chance to spend that much uninterrupted time alone. On the way up I had a chance to listen to a new CD, Archandroid by Janelle Monae, start to finish. I was blown away. I don't think I have heard an album like this in 20 years. She has an amazing voice and this album (yeah I'm old like that) has just about everything except a country tune and I'll bet she could do that too. After having seen her perform "tightrope" on DWTS last night I had to check it out. You might want to too.
