Faster Than A Speeding Bullet..

Sorry for the absence of blips these past few days, it was my birthday on Tuesday and the damage inflicted left me dazed, bewildered and unable to function, see my backblip for the gory details!

Today we left Tokyo for Osaka and, although it was quite pricey we decided we had to take the bullet train. It was like getting onto a spaceship. I've never before felt nervous on a train but when we were moving off I had a sudden urge to strap myself in or something. We covered 550 km in 2+1/2 hours, ate sushi and giggled when we felt it tilt. It was stupidly fast.
Here in Osaka for the next few days then we go to Kyoto for the last 4 weeks.
