headed down from northumberland to yorkshire yesterday, including a trip to eden camp en route - a second world war POW camp transformed into a museum about the conflict; fascinating stuff.

harrogate show today, including admiration of giant veg (my dad was sniffy about the judging here and there, him being a man who takes his veg seriously and used to win prizes) and giant chrysanths. had to be the giant dahlias for the blip tho - a whisker smaller than footballs these blooms, stunning to see the rows of them all standing to attention.
