I'm under no illusions
I'm not an artist or even a craftsman
I'm a Handyman
A Handyman originating from Birmingham, the home of Handymen
Therefore, I like hardware shops
Of which this is my favourite
I asked today, "How long has Barnitts had been trading?"
I was told, "Over a 100 years"
Well, I have been using it for 40 of those
I have aged along with many of the assistants
I remember them as youngsters
They have advised me
Joked with me
Sold me many things
Hurrah for Barnitts
Which is expanding
Even in this day and age.
