While my car was being serviced today, I had a mooch around the shops in Stockport town centre.

For the 45th birthday of the Merseyway Shopping Centre, a local radio station had set up a podium and were broadcasting live. As I walked in and out of shops, this lady was performing hits from the 1960s. She had a lovely warm voice, and a small audience had gathered to hear her sing.

I didn't catch her name, even though I did stop to listen to a few songs myself. I decided that she would be my blip for today, so I emailed the station when I got home to find out her name.

So, thanks for the fantastic entertainment Miss 60s (Sarah Kiely) - you have a great voice.
