Leaf Droplet

I looked out of the window into the front garden this morning, and saw a magical landscape. The grass was covered with dew, and the early morning sunlight was casting a beautiful glow across the lawn.

I decided that, if it still looked as beautiful when I got back from the school run, I would get out there with my camera.

It did.

This is a shot of the clematis growing around our front door, dripping with dew and backlit by the sun.

Perfect.

A wonderful start to what turned into a wonderful day.
