Grapes of Wrath?

We've had these grape vines for years and they've never borne fruit... let alone of such an interesting color scheme. No, I did not tweak any colors in Photoshop, this is untouched. Perhaps it is a sign that a new John Steinbeck will emerge to write about the economic conditions of today.
