Wellgate Clock

Pesky Princess is now off school for the October holidays, a week ahead of her brother who's at high school. Cant believe they are off already!

So, with Mrs P's birthday being on Sunday, I thought we'd better go shopping for pressies.

As M&S dine in for two deal is on this weekend, and it was raining, I decided to park somewhere I've not been in a very long time - Wellgate Shopping center in Dundee, which is close to M&S.

That place is soooo run down, hardly any shops open, and the main ones that are open are £1 shops, Argos and BHS. The place was dead. No wonder I'm never at that end of town. Even the shoplifting junkies seem to give it a wide berth!

This blip is of the clock that's on level3. I remember it from when i was very little and the place had just opened. At that time it seemed so magical; the music that came from it, the different things that appeared out of the various boxes around the clock, the way the animals all moved.

It seems to have been moved from where i remember it being located, but from what i observed still has pulling power - there were quite a few mums & kids staring up at it!

Ended up going to Perth, which i find much nicer for shopping, and got loads of things we've been after. Tonight's dinner is all planned, wine chilling nicely, so with this the only blip in the bag for today, its my offering of the day.

Tomorrow is supposed to be dry, so i hope i manage to get more than one shot!
