Bob & Balboa

A couple of days in Yakima, WA and we were back to old habits. We spent the afternoon at Thurston Wolfe Winery setting up for my photo exhibition - and drinking a little wine in the process, the early evening at an Ike volleyball game, and afterwards at the Red Robin.

It had been tradition for all of our daughter's high school playing days that we celebrated each home volleyball match at the Red Robin. Bob, pictured here, had often been our wait person and always remembered what was going on in our lives. He knew Kelsey had been to Brazil and was now in Long Beach, he knew we should be in California and wondered why we were in town. It was great to catch up with him and I suddenly realized that I had no photographic record of our favorite server. It was only natural to have him and Balboa be the photo of the day.
