Birds (not) on a wire

I was intending to take a photo of the Starlings twittering away on the telephone cables. They had other ideas though and as soon as I got anywhere near they all flew off, did a round trip of the farm and returned to the cable a bit further away. Probably looking like a bit of an idiot, I hid behind a hedge and crept up on them which lead to this shot. They aren't twittering on the wires as intended bit I like it anyway.
