I love that this toy looks like a soap bubble when it spins.

It was one of those Murphy's Law days today. We awoke to torrential rain (over 3 inches of rain!) this morning. I was drenched in just the short walk from parking the car to the train (despite rain boots, rain jacket, and an umbrella). My daytime consultant's internet died and I had to scramble to find two people to replace him (he's an important guy!). And I managed to spill my tea all over my pants (which warmed up my leg for a few minutes and really didn't make my leg any more damp than it already was). And, of course, the train was late and packed.

In the end, it all worked out. I made it to plasmapheresis on time. My pants were even dry by then, although it took me an hour or more to warm up under a heating blanket. I found two back up consultants who kindly offered to help even though they were not on back up duty. And Bob was a well behaved boy all day today.

We have no major plans for the weekend. Rest is on the menu.
