Great-Grandad and Lucy

Great Grandad has a poorly knee, and has therefore been transferred by our hospital to a local nursing home as he shall need to be kept in for some time until it recovers.

He is getting quite forgetful now (which is to be expected as he is nearly 90 years old!), but is still such a character; full of funny stories about the ladies in the nursing home and most unimpressed with the singer who came to entertain them all on Friday (he apparently wasn't anywhere near as good as my dear, dear late Grandma, who was a singer when she was alive).

Today, Lucy came with Mama to visit her Great-Grandad, and cheered him up by gobbling up his pudding, then drawing all over his hand and then telling him in a very stern voice that he had a very enormous house; well, the nursing home does have around thirty bedrooms! Although I'm not sure if Lucy Doll realised that Great-Grandad doesn't actually own all of them...
