Stripes

I had to collect a batch of recipe booklets from the printers early this morning, just in time for West Dean Gardens' Apple Affair weekend.

The printers were based in a part of Portsmouth I didn't know even existed, and despite some dodgy looking businesses and characters, there were some fascinating blipping opportunities: there were a fleet of ice cream vans parked (and I doubt going anywhere fast in this weather), but I thought that nearby chaps standing may not appreciate me taking a photo.

By the way, the book is being sold in aid of the local primary school and is full of apple recipes, contributed by a whole array of well known chefs.
