Osaka-Jo

Busy day today!

Our first visit was to this lovely place, Osaka-Jo; a very impressive castle slap bang in crazy Osaka!

We carried on the Edo theme after this and paid a visit to the Osaka museum of Housing and Living, where I tried on my first kimono!

To finish off the day, we went for a meal in Dotombori (like a mini more intense Tokyo!) with our friends Emma and Kenta who just so happens to speak fluent Japanese, so we had quite a feast of sashimi, skewers, tempura, every part of a chicken that you could think of, and lovely plum wine that tasted like peach!
