Wall in Methlick Kirkyard

Back to sunny weather again today ...

... and back to a local kirkyard with the camera :-)

Set into the wall of the kirkyard of the old parish kirk in Methlick are a fine collection of carved fragments from 18th century gravestones ... that's them along the middle of the wall in this shot.

It was a bright sunny day, but I've opted for a B&W image not for the goth look & feel, its just because I think it helps show the relief on the carvings better.
