Sparkling Sea

This morning Ollie and I went for another stride around the cliffs to give him some exercise before I left for work this afternoon. What a change from yesterday! The sea was still a bit choppy, but it was sparkly and shining, the sky was blue and the world was a calmer place. Yesterday's blip was a colour shot, it's just that the view was monochrome! This morning the sun shone and we had a great walk.

No real damage from the storm, just a few roof slates moved about and a bent garage door. The hens came outside this morning looking bemused and keen to catch up on the scratching and pecking about that they missed yesterday. The ponies were fine, had to hunt a bit to find their feed buckets that had blown into the next field, but they were quite happy.

This afternoon the heavens opened and we had sleet and more hailstones, looks as if we're in for a weekend of it!
