A country Pile

Our gilt lettered invitation and complimentary tickets to attend the "Superior antiques and art fair" at Hopetoun house was well used today. Just glad we didn't pay the £8 to get in. Our wallets would not stretch to a silver spoon never mind the gorgeous Persian rug I lusted after.
Ah well, perhaps after the £112,000,000 Euro jack pot next week and I could, but I think I won't hold my breath.

A bit of shopping for some birthday people and my back told us it was time to go home.

Looking forward to a Biryani and Popadoms and a wee red.
I may even suffer the X factor.......for Ally of course ;-)
