Brambles.

The weather is, at least fairly consistent whenever I get the chance to take some pictures. This morning started beautifully, but had to head out to get some jobs done. Once completed, the sky was of course overcast and grey again.

The daughter and I decided to head out for a walk despite the downpour. Decided to try the method I've been using indoors to see if I could capture the brambles. Wet camera as a result but quite liked the way it pulls out the bright autumn colours.

PS If anyone is interested, I take the aperture right down, keep the ISO as low as possible and try to regulate the exposure using the shutter speed. If you meter off the brightest part or most reflective part, the darker areas are underexposed and form the backdrop for the image.
