The Sun is Very Important

I find it very difficult to get good pictures without the Sun being involved.
I don't use Photoshop. I very seldom crop my pictures.
Having been trained in the last days of FILM photography, I think that I am more of a purist than a lot of the new DIGITAL age photographers who have known nothing else.
Don't get me wrong, I am loving the new found freedom of Digital. The images are not any less appealing to me because of the method of recording.
It is just that I have this feeling when I release the shutter of my camera. I am capturing something special that I alone can see. At that moment in time. I don't want to mess about with it. It seems too precious to me.
This might change.
I don't know.
The images I have seen on Blip are of the highest quality, and I am so envious of the contributors who produce them.
I suppose you just have to try to be truthful to yourself and the mirror that is photography must reflect whatever feelings or experiences impinge on your life at that instant.

I am happy.
