Street Trader

While my wife experienced the rigours of a four-hour examination in the Crystal Ballroom of the Hilton hotel in Atlanta, I explored the city. I think I got the better deal.

The main drag through the city is Peachtree Street. In the vicinity of Five Points and the Underground, it is the place to hang out and not unnaturally a good spot for street vendors to ply their trade.

Shooting from the hip, I captured this street trader and his stall. Note the "No Free Samples" sign while he happily munches on a bag of chips/crisps. I guess it is a case of, Do as I say, not do as I do.

I took near on 200 shots combined, with the Canon and the Ricoh, and it was hard to single out just one shot. I decided to go for something with people since I get little chance to take such shots in Riverside.
