The centre of a tulip and some PhotoShop trickery.

I'm having fresh asparagus for my dinner this evening. It is growing in my garden. I don't cut it until the chicken is cooked and resting. Then the asparagus is cut, cooked and on the plate in less than 15 minutes. This captures a flavour that is very quickly lost.
