Please rescue me, says the garden gnome

Yesterday the carpenters finished their work on the new bathroom. This entailed a lot of MDF sawing (incredibly dusty work).
That dusty work behind us, we decided to replant our very sorry looking planters on the window sills. Off we went this morning to the garden center to buy us some winter pansies. We each gave Abbie and Pippa a tray to fill, so they each chose 18 pansy plants. Abbie filled the planters at the front, Pippa some pots at the back.

Whilst they were busy choosing, I had a quick look around and I found these chaps (in all different sizes). All lined up to be bought, but tucked away in a corner not to be found unless you really looked for them. They looked a bit sad and lonely, despite their smiling faces...
