Busy bee

The Boy and I did some baking today. Not something which has been terribly successful before now, as he normally gets fed up really quickly and leaves me to it. But he got really involved today, and helped with everything - although he gave up on filling the fairy cake cases in the end because it was too fiddly. Nonetheless, we both had a great time, and the fairy cakes were delicious - half were banana flavour, the other half had some chocolate chips added, so were even better!

The first photo here is of him mashing the bananas. The second one was an impromptu shot when he suddenly sat down and started clapping because he was so excited about going to Disneyland during his school holidays later this month. He has been collecting stars for good behaviour and good deeds for months now, and today he reached his target. Little does he know the booking was made months ago! Just as well he got to his total - there was a time not that long ago when I was beginning to doubt it would happen!
