Running Hot and Cold.

Last night stayed at a period hotel, which had retained a lot of original features, despite an overhaul by it's commercial owners. Lots of ideas to steal and use at home...one day.

Felt very guilty, as having read trip advisor, where the only negative comments related to low head height and 4ft beds, called hotel to ensure we were in a room with a full size bed, and they obligingly moved us to room 20...only to find out on arrival that the relatives who kindly gave us a lift all the way there had been moved from the room they had booked, room 20, to a smaller room...with a smaller bed...oops.

Despite us having a nice big bathroom and full size bed, the room was incredibly noisy (above the kitchens and associated extractors) and I was most impressed with this...a radiator valve...totally over engineered...gorgeous.
