If you don´t look, you will not see.

As we walked the streets, hand in hand I had my camera ready, just in case I would see something. I did.

When this scene appeared in front of me i felt a huge, deep feeling inside. A feeling of instant horror. This man was invisible to the surrounding people. I had to stop and breath it in for a few seconds. Maybe I thought it would disappear? I took up my camera and started to shoot.

When i was finished, the people had disappeared and I approached the man slowly as I looked him into his eyes. They where as empty as the paper cup he held in his hand. I smiled my warmest smile as i dropped the only money we had and thanked him for the photos i just took.

I will never forget his eyes.
