Romanesco broccoli apparently...

Another green one. This was in my veg-box this week. Romanesco broccoli. It said online that children love it, so I told my children they'd love it and two out of three did. The third one, Blue Twin, was a little monkey & ate no dinner at all so it wasn't the broccoli he didn't like. Me & Mr KC liked it too.

So here's my problem. Macro setting. I loved it on my compact, on my Panasonic FZ-45 I'm struggling. Can't use the zoom with it but that's probably normal. So I have to get really close and then it's touching the (filter) lens. Also the colour's wrong. It was bright green. I caught the colour in some photos in others not at all. The camera was probably blocking out the day light. Hmmmm.... I've found a photography course, they do free tasters on a Saturday morning so I'm hoping to go along and then book a course at the beginning on November...
