just the way you are [homecoming 2010]

here's a shot of the corsage my homecoming date gave me!

overall, yestderday was a busy, stressful, frustrating day, but i got through it with many good times in between.

once i woke up, i went for a quick run, showered, then headed over to the salon to get my hair done. after that, i went home to prepare for the remainder of the day and soon left for my orchestra rehearsal downtown. i had to leave my rehearsal early to change, then met my parents to switch cars so i could use the SUV, then i picked up my date to drive over to my friend's house for pictures. *whew!*

pictures were fun and dinner was amusing, and the dance was...well, complicated. we walked in with high expectations, but the dj completely let me down. he played music with absolutely NO beat. the ONE slow song he played, i had to dance with another member of homecoming court, so i couldn't even have a slow song with my own date! :( what in the world.

even with all of this, i still loved spending time with my friends, and that's exactly what i did. i loved it -- every single moment. <3 so here's to homecoming 2010: you're amazing, just the way you are.
