Changing

It was a beautiful day in the New Mexico mountains checking out the change in seasons. I forgot the intense smells of Fall until we got out of the car and stepped into the depths of the National Forest.

I had taken for granted the changing seasons, the smells and delights, growing up in the Midwest. Living in the desert takes a little more effort to find the tangible reminders of the season's greetings.

What an honor to experience Mother Nature's cycle of birth, death, and renew!
