Cultural values

The Pasir Ris new town took efforts to retain some cultural features if the ethnics Malay into the design if their architectural features. At the waiting booth of the bus interchange, the architect incorporated the Seljuk kind of Arabic archway design to the waiting bay. The view through the Arabic design shows an idyllic island lifestyle of this coastal town in Singapore.
