Sun streaming through the window this morning, what joy!!

I picked up this spiky object in the park on Saturday and plonked it on my coffee table to admire it when I came home. I'm not sure what it is apart from the fact that it's an opened up nut of some kind. I liked the shadow it cast and it's shape.
