Lucifer seeds - whoever thought birds would love them so much?

Finally back online. Turns out that Virgin crashed in our area, then BT had a fault on the line,then the modem gave up the ghost, even Blip was acting a bit funny at times. As it happens, I wasn't going crazy. All of these faults were intermittent so it was near impossible to figure out what actually was the source of the problem.

All sorted now - what a different life it is with no internet. When did it become so central to my life? The number of times over these last days when I've gone 'I'll just ... nope that's on the net. Nope, that's on the net too.' Everything from catch-up TV to recipes to clicking on links in emails. Ubiquitous, and actually just a little scary.
