Amsterdam - bikes and canals

We arrived in Amsterdam today and were overwhelmed by the number of cyclists. Of course, we knew that was what to expect, but seriously, it was mental!

My boyfriend and I were having a romantic stroll by the canal, when all of a sudden a bell starts ringing aggressively behind us. There's barely time to turn around before having to dive out the way. And it was none stop. Bell after bell after bell. I felt a little on edge by the evening. Good job there's all those coffeeshops about ;)
