Oak Savanna and prarie

In between a few obligations that I had to take care of today, I stopped by my favorite (and near by) oak savanna and a small piece of original prarie.
At this time of year most plants are drying up, getting ready for winter, but at least I could walk thru without getting ticks on me.
It is peaceful here and it seems no one else likes to come here.
