Summer is a-coming.....

It's been a magnificent day today - dawn to dusk sunshine, warming temperatures and a real feel that summer is just around the corner.

Despite what this shot seems to suggest, the beach was pretty much as packed as it's been since last summer. This family obviously wanted some time away from the crowds exploring a few rock pools. Great school holiday activity :)

Of to Auckland for a few days tomorrow so hoping the sun keeps up.
