Chasing cars

Momentous day today. Big decision. Decided I'm not going to spend any time or money more than necessary on cars. My everyday car is exactly that. An everyday car. A means of getting from A to B. So whatever I end up driving, it shall be kept in working order and filled with fuel when needed. (Even if it's a donkey - carrots are cheaper than petrol). Actually I think I'll get my bike once and for all, finally fixed. That's a pace that I should be going at. Certainly feels like it at the moment. I have too many cars. The beetle project has so far been 9 years. And I've had enough. Time to throw in the towel. It's been tens of thousands of pounds and it's still not finished. Im just throwing money at it and it never seems to be any further forward. Losing time and money in this way is just, quite frankly, not worth it. The man who is being paid to help me finish the build is never there, doesn't answer the phone or reply to texts. I've never felt such a lack of respect. Very sad someone can treat someone else like that. So it's now for sale - time for someone else to have the pleasure of finishing it. Obviously I'm not using this as an ad, so interested parties can find a way to get in touch with me. All bits for saabs and all beetle bits will also be going on eBay. At a time when we don't know if our futures are certain, it's time to hit the gong, button down the hatches and prepare for the storm ahead. Shame, but for the best. Over and out.
