I'm Open!

Going to the girls soccer (football for those of you outside the U.S.) games today was great. It really reminded me of when I was young and playing myself.
One game was with girls young enough not to know all the rules yet. This made the referee yell out some pretty interesting comments like
"Stop Hugging, You can hug after the game!"
As far as I know there was no hugging back when I was playing. But there were some simmilarities, like the temperature. It seemed always as cold as it was today. I can remember that ball hitting my freezing cold hands, yes I was playing at the goal, and it would just sting like nothing else.
The ref, of course, had other things to say about pain
"Don't be afraid of the ball, it will only hurt for a minute."
I can remember, it hurt longer than that, but I didn't care. When that ball started coming toward me again it all went away and the only thing I could think of was to have that ball in my hands again. Safe.

I BackBlipped her sister for yesterday. Check it out.
