Morning Surprise!...oozes Sophie

I flopped outside, heading to my basement, with focused intent on getting my morning laundry onto the clothesline when, I was stopped in my tracks by my furry friend.

Never seen one in the city, especially my backyard, but we got him contained and my husband is releasing him out onto the desert mesa as I write this.

P.S. Did you know these guys can shoot straight up? I didn't until I finished my pictures and Eric told me. I am thankful she was a nice subject and didn't jump onto my nose.
