Mathias Brismée, Bruxelles

Our charming new friend Mathias showed us around 'his' Brussels today: a backstreet car ride to see hidden walls and rivers, deep green abbey canals populated with bright orange fish and stick-thin herons, illegal parking on the road and a brewery tour to taste the ancient and fascinating 'geuze' lambic beer that's brewed from the hidden waters of Brussels in midwinter by setting the beer to stand in open copper vats.
Tonight we perform at the Bouche à Oreille where we met Mathias a few months ago playing his wonderful music. I love this city!
