Travel
The above is a tuk tuk made by hand from a Chang beer can. I got it at the night market in Chang Mai.
Everyone marvels at the traffic in Thailand but i deeply miss travelling by tuk tuk.
I had the good fortune to travel to Thailand with a group of truely amazing girls. Myself and five of the girls were dubbed the oldies (the oldest of us being 32 the youngest a mere 22!!). While in Chang mai the oldies decided to hunt down the roof top bar (tourist trap). New to travel in Thailand we flagged down a tuk tuk tuk to see how many it would hold and how much it would cost. The answer is it will seat 2 comfortably 3 if squeezed in. 7 if a little tipsy and one person is willing to sit on the drivers knee. It cost us a miserable 20p each! Its a different world over there!
The tuk tuk makes me smile to think of us crammed into one hanging on for dear life.
It sits on a bookcase and was out of mind till it fell on my head while i searched for my phone charger. It required its picture taken and it's story told.
I promise that i do leave the flat however since the flat is still new to me i'm taking pleasure from the little things that make it up. Also not yet comfortable walking round the city center with my camera :P
