Quality of Light

Lately, for just a few brief moments before the sun dips below the hill, we have been getting this wonderful quality of light that makes everything it touches look gorgeous - even the telephone pole in front of our house!

Dinner tonight is roasted tomato and baked chicken on baguettes. Everything in it is fresh or homemade. I did everything except raise and butcher the chicken and make the parmesan cheese. I roasted the tomatoes for 6.5 hours, made the dough for the baguettes, breaded the chicken in yogurt, bread crumbs, lemon zest, parmesan, and rosemary that I picked off the bush in the yard. It was delicious!
