Fringe Festival, Edinburgh

This is my first entry on Blip since July (5 Oct today). It's been a crazy couple of months for me as I've been finding my feet here in the UK. I've finally got myself a means of editing and uploading photos - I'm sitting at the pub with a pint of Stella as I write this.

I travelled from Finchampstead, Berkshire to Edinburgh by overnight bus which took about 9 hours. We actually ran out of fuel on our way up funnily enough. It was absolutely freezing in Scotland but it was so good to see my friend, Iona, who'd left Aus about four years ago and I hadn't seen since! We had a great day out at the Fringe Fest which has completely taken over the Royal Mile in the centre of town.

It felt a bit odd taking a photo of someone taking a photo of someone but there's something about this shot that I like. Perhaps it's how the musician is carrying on as though he hasn't even noticed the camera(s) pointed in his direction.
