A Rose is a Rose is a Rose

aka ~ The Rose that refused to die!

About six weeks ago I brought this rose home to Ingrid. We both thought it was quite beautiful.

A few weeks later, as we were going off to Florida, it still looked lovely.

Now we've returned and, though the leaves are still green and pliable, and I still think it's beautiful, the rose itself has pretty well dried up.

Dried up ~ but not washed up!

There's a lesson here....
