Izzy

Here she is, the little treasure. This is how Izzy spends most of her time at the moment: with her arms wrapped tightly around Mama's neck.

I wanted to take a snap of us both sitting in the early morning sunshine which was streaming through the kitchen window as we were eating our breakfast (there's nothing like natural sunlight for bleaching out Mama's wrinkles; it's incredible), but little Izzy was having none of it.

She has, however, been quite a happy little chicken this morning; there have been lots of smiles, lots of laughter and even some chattery-noises (Izzy doesn't usually speak), so some improvement for my funny little baby!
