WORK DAY

Today we had to stay home to await the delivery of a new refrigerator. So we planned a project -- paint the exterior doors. I spent the morning taping which actually took as long as the actual painting. Then painted in the afternoon.

Meanwhile the refrigerator arrived. But, alas, it had a dent in the door so I had to write "REFUSE" on the invoice and the poor delivery man had to take it back down the steps, out our narrow door. It's bad enough not having what you'd been waiting for, but on top of that I'd had to make multiple phone calls in French to determine the delivery date and time. Stress is talking on the phone in French!
