Life saver

Naloxone is a drug which temporarily reverses the effects of respiratory depression caused by an overdose of opiate or opioid drugs such as diamorphine (heroin), codeine & methadone.

The drug is a prescription only medicine and supplied in a pre-filled 2ml syringe at 1mg/ml. It can be supplied without prescription, under certain circumstances.

The syringe is housed in the yellow box.
